About Me
My name is Mariela Garcia and I am a first generation college student. I have seven total siblings, most are half brothers and sisters. I live with my parents and little brother while working two jobs with a full-time school schedule. I work at Buffalo Wild Wings and Victoria's Secret. I am a very loud person and am not afraid to tell you something that you need to hear.
I love to read when I am not busy with life and I also make dream catchers when I have a chance to.
I am going to be a Pediatric Traveling Nurse specialized in the Oncology field. One of the reasons I would like to become a Nurse is because when I was younger I saw how much my grandmother was being cared for and knew that if people could do that, I would be able to as well.

ReplyDeleteHey Mariela! I think its really awesome that you're a first generation college student. I think it's very admirable that you can work two jobs and still achieve a college education at the same time. Reading is something that I love to do as well so if you have any books that you like let me know and I would love to check them out! I'm also a nursing major but I want to work in the Emergency Room, us nursing majors have to stick together to get through school so let me know if you ever need help with anything or just wasn't someone to study with!

ReplyDeleteI admire that you are a first generation college student, because I am too! Also I think its amazing that you're working two jobs and getting a college education! I know I couldn't do that. I also love to read on my free time, and I absolutely love dream catchers! Looks like we have several things in common :)
